Abraham Bull was established on the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom by Claire Abraham Bull, Simon Bull and James Bull in 2020 — with a vision to make handcrafted, ultra-limited individually numbered timepieces, and to make every timepiece by using the ‘one pair of hands’ ethos, where the craftsmanship and dedication of a single Master Watchmaker crafts and assembles each part. Creating a palpable originality that can be felt only when you wear an Abraham Bull timepiece.


Simon Bull — Founder & Master Watchmaker.
Each of our timepieces is handcrafted by Simon Bull, our Master Watchmaker.  Simon was born and lives on the Isle of Wight and has over 23 years experience as a Horologist. Simon had a desire to make his mark on the watch industry, and so Abraham Bull was born to bring life to each and every one of our timepieces. The Vectis timepiece has become a very personal and creative expression of Simon’s experience, skill and passion.

Claire Abraham Bull — Founder.
Claire Abraham Bull, our Founder was born in Yorkshire and raised near Glasgow, and after years in London now lives in San Francisco. Claire has a varied and deep knowledge across many subject areas, with a special interest in history and fashion as well as in watches and clocks. She bought her first luxury watch when she was 20 and has been passionate about watches from an early age. Claire is responsible for recognizing the potential in the talents within the family, and was the first to encourage Abraham Bull to become a reality.

James Bull – Founder
The Vectis timepiece was designed by James Bull, our Founder. Born on the Isle of Wight, trained in London and now living in San Francisco – James has spent more than 20 years, as Co-Founder of Moving Brands bringing brands and communication to life for clients, including; Apple, BBC, Bowers & Wilkins, IBM, Kef, Netflix, Norton & Sons, Sony, Stella McCartney and Ultimate Ears. For Abraham Bull he has combined his skills and experience in design and brand with his passion for traditional craftsmanship to design the Vectis timepiece. Creating a unique product that blends the worlds of luxury and design in a way not seen before.
